Corporate wellness programs seem to be a slam-dunk reputation-builder. Corporate wellness programs demonstrate that a company is concerned with employee well-being. But if done poorly, wellness programs are risky to corporate reputation.

Corporate Responsibility Magazine talked with TotalWellness president and founder Alan Kohll about five keys that can help employers focus beyond the healthcare numbers, but more broadly about well-being as a whole.

“A lot of companies will sponsor runs, as well as volunteer in the community. They are creating a mix of programs that are all part of being healthy and being productive, not just at work, but in the community,” Kohll says.
