Companies scramble for late flu shots – Houston Chronicle

In January 2013,  the country was in the middle of one of the worst flu seasons in the last decade. By January 7, there were 15,000 cases of the flu reported in New York alone. With widespread activity across the country, many people and employers were scrambling to get flu shots. In fact, TotalWellness received a flood of calls asking if there was time to squeeze in flu shots for employees. The Houston Chronicle reported on how companies were working to protect their employees from the flu.
