Hepatitis B
Due to your potential occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material, you may be at risk of acquiring Hepatitis B (HBV) infection. Per Dominion Energy’s Bloodborne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan, you are being offered the Hepatitis B Vaccine at no charge. The voucher will expire 12/31/2024.
**For full protection, Hepatitis B vaccines should be received in a 3 shot schedule:
- Dose 1 - given on any date
- Dose 2 - given 1 month after dose 1
- Dose 3 - given 6 months after dose 1
Tetanus/Tdap
In preparation for extraordinary work situations, it may be appropriate to proactively offer potentially affected Dominion Energy colleagues the Tetanus/Tdap immunization. The voucher indicates it is “Valid for Tdap Vaccine”; however, it provides protection for Tetanus, Diphtheria and Pertussis.
