At TotalWellness, we encourage our healthcare providers to remain up-to-date with their knowledge of influenza vaccination and immunization practices. This certification program provides an overview of the flu and the flu shot. It addresses specific TotalWellness policies regarding event implementation and best practices for vaccine storage, transportation, and administration.

The program is composed of three parts. You will be required to review information about the flu and the flu shot, read the TotalWellness Manual, and pass a 30-question quiz. TotalWellness flu certifications completed prior to April 30, 2024, are now expired. All nurses wishing to administer flu shots in the fall must complete the updated TotalWellness flu certification program. By completing this program, you will be eligible to administer flu shots at TotalWellness events through March 31, 2026.
