Alan Kohll

Alan Kohll is the founder of TotalWellness.  His educational background includes two bachelor’s degrees in Business and Elementary Education from Tulane University.  Kohll's passion for health promotion and disease prevention inspiried him to start the company. Kohll is a certified Race Director and Coach with USA Triathlon, the governing body for Triathlons in the United States.   He has recently organized two major triathlons in Omaha, NE.  Professionally, Kohll serves on the boards of the Wellness Council of the Midlands (WELCOM) and the Friedel Jewish Academy.

Kate Adams

Kate Adams is the Vice President and Director of Nursing.  She received her Bachelor's degree of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University.  Her final specialty coursework focused on health promotion, which was cutting-edge and unheard of at that time.  She weaved her way into the wellness industry shortly thereafter.  Adams has been with TotalWellness since 1999.  She played a critical role in establishing the company and has been involved with just about every department, including Nursing, Training, Staffing & Scheduling, Marketing & Sales, Quality Control, and Human Resources.  Adams currently specializes in development of policies, procedures and paperwork , service enhancements, website information and marketing materials.  She is innately health-and-wellness-minded and, with a love of science, a nursing background, and a bulk of her career in this industry, she feels wellness is a big part of who she is.

Dr. Thomas Safranek

Dr. Thomas Safranek serves as the TotalWellness Medical Director.  Dr. Safranek is a state certified Epidemiologist who specializes in internal medicine and infectious disease.  His experience includes training at the National Institute of Health and he currently works closely with the CDC assisting the deputy director.  Dr. Safranek graduated from Georgetown University Medical School and has over 27 years of experience.

TotalWellness continues to provide great events. Our employees appreciate how friendly everyone is and how organized the event is run. They are especially amazed by the carotid artery ultrasound --a test that most have never had before.
